Nucleus and The Pizza Bike Racers
Live at The Code Bar, Briançon – June 7, 2018 9pm
Free Entry (as always)
This is a bit of special gig for us. A great friend of ours, Frazer Croft from Toppesfield, Essex and 12 of his mates will be visiting in Briançon on June 7 for a few days. They are doing some ‘mildhog’ touring of The Alps on a bunch of Honda C90 bikes. Yes those are the ones that were always called ‘Bog Seats’. These days they are mostly used for pizza deliveries. Bass player Rick has a fondness for these things as he had a Honda C90 back in the 80s when he’d quite merrily ride from Stoke to Aberystwyth every Friday afternoon after he’d finished his week of night shifts at the Mr Kipling cake factory.
Frazer and The Pizza Bike Racers are doing some rafting while they are here. Judging by the state of the rivers here at the moment, that should be interesting for them. White water? Definitely and lots of it.
Special Guest on the night is Mike Rollins from Contraband and Les Deux Chemises. Mike has played with Rick, Colin and Neil many many times over the years.
This is going to be a great night, which Nucleus are really looking forward to. Many thanks to Sandra at Le Code Bar for letting us play on a ‘School Night’. See you all there.
